R. David Evans, MD MBA, MPH
Dr. Evans received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. He completed his internship and residency in Surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. His fellowship in Vascular Surgery was completed at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Evans also holds a master’s degree in Public Health as well as an MBA.
Dr. Evans specializes in General and Peripheral Vascular Surgery and is a member of The American Board of Surgery. He came to us from Lakeland, Florida where he practiced for over 16 years. Dr. Evans has been involved in a number of professional activities as well as co-author of numerous published articles, posters and exhibits. He is also the first in the Gulf Coast region to peform the SILS procedure (single port laparoscopy through the navel) for gallbladder removal.
