What is a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)?

A D.O., Doctor of Osteopathy (also known as: Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Osteopathic Physician, or Osteopath) is a physician trained and licensed to practice the full spectrum of conventional medicine and surgery. A D.O. incorporates the philosophies of Osteopathy and the practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT). The Osteopathic philosophy embraces the beliefs that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself, there is an intimate interrelationship between structure and function, and the body is an integrated dynamic unit of function.

From the North: Going south on 25th Ave. toward 20th St., go 0.1 miles. Turn Right onto 19th St., go 0.3 miles. Turn Right onto 30th Ave. and go North till you see the office on your left.

From the South: From East Beach Dr., going toward RB Meadows Blvd. Bear Right onto RB Meadows Blvd (US-39 N) and go 0.3 miles. Turn Left onto 17th St and go 0.3 miles. Turn Right onto 30th Ave and go North about 0.2 miles till you see the office on your left.

From the East: Starting from the Gulfport-Biloxi Int'l Airport, on Washington Ave. going toward Locust St., go 0.2 miles. Bear Right (Washington Ave. turns into Mitt Evans Blvd.) Continue on Washington Ave and turn Right onto Pass Rd. and go 2.8 miles. Continue on 25th St./Pass Rd. and turn Left onto 30th Ave. and go North till you see the office on your left.

From the West: From Old Pass Rd. go 0.2 miles. Bear Right onto 16th St. and go 0.4 miles. Bear left onto Westward Dr. Turn right onto 17th St. and go 0.6 miles. Turn Left onto 30th Ave and go North till you see the office on your left.
